White mink that possibly escaped or was released from a mink farm.

so, should we have skinned it? Ermine, mink, ferret?

It was too big for a stoat and I thought too big for a mink.

It is a wee bit on the big side alright to be a stoat unless it was over-indulging on the fish :D

Mink farming is banned now or is it?

I have seen mink swimming and they lookedsmaller (as Father Ted said tho', they were far away) and wirier than this model. I suppose that if I looked at the species and families I should be able to decuct what cross breed it could be, if it is one.
