Hey im signed up with a broadband package for the year and the service is terrible.

The internet is down with the last week and a half and only barely working at momennt. Just getting blown off by them and sick of there lies.

Salesman arrived at door told us a few alf truths and we signed upThe contract said we could unsubscibe within ten days. . Rang them on day seven to unsubscribe and the said it would take 5 days to process. Sneaky or what.

6 months with them and want to join eircom as they ave a better package with the free meteor calls.

Is it possible to unsubcribe? 12 month contract is written on the contract with tiny print. advice please

Part of the contract would be that they provide you with a decent service. Have you raised a ticket with them about the service. In other words what has been your interaction with the company?

If you rang them on day seven of the ten day cooling off period, then their processing has nothing to do with you, they must unsubscribe you. How long ago was that?

If the service is terrible, you have to give them a chance to fix it.

Record everything, if the service is still not up to what was offered, send them a registered letter with your intention of cancelling the contract due to poor service, outline the reasons for doing this, and ask them for confirmation of termination of contract.

    Stop your DD.

Also probably not the best time to be joining Eircom. :o

Edit: Just reread your post, it doesn't matter if it takes 105 days to sign you off, you notified them before the 10 days, why are you still with them after 6 months?
