Tried out Maloccas on the Ramparts this evening, a 2 piece fillet box and small portion of curry sauce was €10.30  It is less than 9 euro in Greenacres and similar in Kierans on Chapel Street. Tasty enough but is this the most expensive in the town?

That is dear. I have tried that place a few times and it is tasty but I thought they were a bit mean with their chips.

seems a bit steep alright. IMO the best take away in dundalk is charlie's out along the dublin road. The portions are huge and the chicken is easily the best in dundalk
