jml exakt saw

bought a couple of weeks ago.doesn't seem to do as it says on the tin:(tried to do a laminate floor which it wouldn't cut it actually burned the boards.it certainly does not do what it it is supposed to do.anyone out there have one.the exakt saw appears to be a gimmick that looks fantastic but is not.can anyone help:mad:
