Verification = Was in there this morning, they always have sweets and drinks that they import from england and other stuff that you don't get in the aul Republic, if needs be I'll take a pic of the fridge next time I'm filling

Any time I did the Pepsi challenge, I say them it they wanted to know which was the Pepsi or which I preferred better.....

You only got the scratch card {that 99% of time was a free pepsi} if you picked the pepsi.

Do you not go down to the shops and grab a vial of Vanilla extract and add a tad to your drink? The bottle lasts forever and 'Tastes gorgeous' as one of my northern relatives likes to say. I noticed that's what the burger shops do in the states when you order a vanilla coke(or chocolate or cherry). Makes all the difference.

What I find odd is how different both drinks taste in the States. Coke in the states only uses high fructose corn syrup whereas Pepsi use cane Sugar as well, or by itself depending on where you get it. The Pepsi often tastes better. Do we use beet sugar here? BTW, in Texas, you can get Dr. Pepper with Cane Sugar in most shops, I noticed. Good stuff.

Sorry to drag up the zombie thread but Tesco are now stocking Cherry Coke, and my friend (who works in Tesco) said they might be stocking Vanilla Coke into Tesco in the near future.

SUPERDRUG OMNI SANTRY!!!!

Confirmed as from 13:00 today. They had the orange coca cola last year, still have the empty orange bottle! They have a selection of drinks you cant get here and alot cheaper. Red bull reg can only 1.30.

I tasted the Orange Coke, not great,
my top 5: Vanilla Coke,Cherry Coke,Coca Cola,Coke Zero,Orange Coke.

Yet to find any Vanilla Coke. However, a wee heads up for anyone who likes cherry-flavored beverages: The Euro2 shop in Swords Village is selling 5 cans of Cherry 7Up for €2. :pac: Fecking lovely stuff, that. Much milder on the stomach than Cherry Coke and it fills the gap nicely.

I agree, strange dude.

Nah, I just looked for a vid to match what I was going to post anyway.

Adding a few drops of Vanilla Extract to Coke should get the desired effect.

You can get tiny little bottles of the stuff with droppers just like Ear Drops and so can carry it about

Use Vanilla Extract though, NOT Vanilla Essence as that's just an artificial substance, whereas Extract is extracted directly from the plant.
