Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What a shock move with Notts County sealing a deal for the former England manager

Interesting, Sven as ever knows where the money is. Notts County have been bought by some middle east outfit.

His press conference as it happened

I think hes going to be director of football rather than manager. A nice coup for Notts County.

Yeah lets just hope he keeps his celebrations after the game to a minimum.

Maybe include the 'It's already working' intro in the spoiler bit, seeing as it doesn't really leave the result of the game in any doubt!

No need for that kind of cynicism. If you haven't got something worthwhile or constructive to say then keep it shut. Admirers of traditional football clubs with great pasts will be delighted at this coup for County. They have a great set up at Meadow Lane, a fantastic stadium, one good enough for the Premiership and built for when they last in the top division (91-92). They also have a very tidy training ground further down the River Trent. Maybe not a Premier League club, but they're certainly a sleeping giant of the lower leagues and should be looking to get back to the second tier.
Their current coach, Ian McPartland, did a fantastic job with the Forest reserves and as a caretaker manager with the first team. Notts County will be promoted this season, of that i'm sure.

    I certainly care.

What an absolute pile of crap that result was. Bradford were ****. No-one stood up. Attitude was terrible and to be honest cant see City getting out of the division again this year.

Notts County should kick on and push for promotion.

Good grief, they'll be in for a hell of a shock. Every centre-back in the division would look forwards to kicking lumps out of them.
