Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

MX-5 alarm/remote locking/immobiliser fob

Hi, I recently purchased an MX-5. All was well except the fob was not remnotely unlocking the passenger door. The dealer was dragging his feet dealing with the matter. In the meantime, the battery in the fob seemed to have died so I bought a new one. When I unscrewed the casing a few tiny components fell out. When I put it back together it was not working so I have had to switch the alarm etc off. The only thing I can think of it was one of the components got lost. Anyway, is it possible to get replacement bits somewhere or will I have to go down the route of getting a new fob and getting it programmed? Need to get it all sorted before the dealer looks at the passenger door as I don't want to be blamed for the original problem.

Any advice on what do welcomed.

    Vixter
