Well, do you? Are you a lucky person?


I always thought I was naturally lucky, I've won a walkman, a book hamper, a bottle of Bollinger, a trip to France, CDs, tickets to horse racing and probably more that I can't think of right now.

But then I realised, I enter competitions pretty obsessively. I've spend the last few hours entering all the competitions I could find online for holidays, free food, music, tickets, anything.

Are you a competition Junkie? Do you keep an eye out for chances to win varios things or do you just flip over the page/close the browser?

I consider myself to be fairly lucky. I'm constantly winning stuff when I'm doin' them scratch cards (one 25 Euro once...good times...good times...). I really wanna do radio competitions but usually I'm either too lazy or I don't like the things their offering.
Everything unlucky that happens to me I usually laugh over it. I've had a fair few hilarious unlucky things happen to me. People like you more if you laugh over it.

I am lucky!!!!!!! I've just won 2 U2 tickets for their gig on Saturday. Pity I hate them.

I've won a 256mb mp3 player, an 80gb ipod, a digital camera, a crate of vimto, found plenty of money on the street, get free things through the door every so often, and got a massive pair of speakers for free on indefinite lend. I'd count myself as pretty lucky.

Oh, also won about £100 on greyhounds when I was 9 or 10. Was amazing back then.

Hell no. Last week my car got stuck on a hill (in the fcuking Curragh, of all places!) and while I went to get someone to tow it for me, these guys decided to jump all over it, leaving a huge dent in the bonnet and scratching the paint work with their studded belts. Then they said they were "only trying to help", so won't pay for the 700 euro worth of damage.

The next day.... I thought maybe the car would look a bit better if I took it to the carwash. So I did. And the windscreen cracked in it. Amazing times!

I use to enter competitions and have had some success ie, a portable television , football tickets , books, records, cds , a case off beer, a months free travel on dublin bus /rail ( back in the 80s ) and have won approx £7,000 on the irish lotto over the last 6, 7 years so yeah , have had my fair share of luck .:)
