Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sorry if this is in the wrong thread.
I have a casio exilim camera and now when I turn it on I have to go through the settings everytime. This also happens when it goes into standby. Anyone know why this is or anyway I can fix it, would it be possible to reset the firmware or anything like that?

    Thanks

    What settings?

just one possibility - if its a few years old it may be that a small battery somewhere that powers the memory with the settings (when the camera is off) needs to be replaced. If its relatively new then its probably not this as it will have a static memory (like USB memory keys)

Time date language time zone home city dst and time/date format.
It's just annoying to have to do it everytime I turn it on

This is most likely what is wrong. There should be a small watch type battery inside the camera that needs to be replaced.

I don't know whether you can access this easily or not though on that model.

Yeah, exactly what reg said, little internal battery not keeping the information.
What camera make / model is it?

It's a casio exelim 7.2 mega pixel, don't think there is anymore than that
