Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just looking for ideas on where to get some good landscape shots? For starters, in Dublin and surrounding areas but I plan on taking short breaks country wide also.

I'm going to be taking landscape photography very seriously over the coming months so need to start researching now! I only know of the standard places, Blessington Lakes/Glendalough etc but would be interested to hear your suggestions?

Every field, river, lake and seashore in Ireland has excellent landscape photography potential. Seriously.

With the right light, composition and angle you can make a stunning shot out of anything.

There is a field in Westmeath somewhere that has round bales leading up to a small castle ruin. Outstanding potential there. A few miles down the road there is a turf train sitting on the tracks. Again with the right light and angle you will have a stunner. So remember that, everywhere you go there are stunners.
