The Bag Stores went into liquidation so Dunnes might be best bet. There's a place on Talbot Street too that seems ok value, they have a permanent sale on though so don't be blinded that.

It's a false economy. Cheap luggage is much more prone to fall apart after being throw about by baggage handlers at the airports. Unless of course you enjoy seeing your underware going around the baggage belt!!

The zips and handles of cheap luggage tend to break easily also.

Cheap baggage really is a false economy as previous poster states.

Also be very conscious when buying cheaper to the weight of the case, more 'expensive' cases tend to be lighter (just call into Arnotts luggage department for a comparison) this makes a large difference if flying Ryanair for example.

However medium quality yet fairly cheap can be obtained from Debenhams - will do a few trips but will look like battered after a couple!

If you are prepared to travel outside of Dublin good value at Kildare village in the Samsonite Store or better still an absolute steal for Antler or Samsonite in Banbridge Outlets, 60% or less of the Arnotts prices for identical cases.
