Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

trading in my car so my mother can get some money off the one she hopes to buy.
Have been looking up garages and cars online and there are tons and tons of Puntos for sale, mostly in County Dublin.
My question is are they a reliable car? Would you buy from a garage that doesn't give warranty? I don't live in Dub so would it be a good idea to buy from a garage far from home?
Cheers, and sorry about all the q's! :o

they're generally not that reliable (former owner here!) but:
    Good safety
    really quiet engines
    good spec
    loads to choose from
    CHEAP.

Don't be under the illusion that they're hugely reliable - while some will be problem free, others will be a nightmare. they don't stand up to abuse, so buy one with low mileage, with a full FIAT history.

    Common gripes include:
    non functioning rear wipers,
    creaking rear suspernsion,
    electric power steering problems
    syncromesh going on 2nd gear
    head gasket problems
    headlights letting in water

make sure any one you buy hasn't got any of these problems, as well as the normal checks.
