Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Talk to Cartronics, one of the best. I paid €2500 a few years ago, I believe it is cheaper now.

I'd imagine the cheapest route would be getting a leather spec (if available) form a breakers.

Depending on what sort of finish your mates after talk to VolvoBoy he got is carina leathered up for a good price and not a bad finish either

Most cost effective way is to swap for leather interior from a scrapped car.
I changed mine myself in a couple of hours; eBay bargain £220 shipped from UK - looks mint.

Frank Keane BMW use him to Retro fit leather to their new cars. Top quality work (he's done a few for me). Should come in around €2,000 or less including VAT.

Cartronics work is top quality too, Nolan's are a lot closer to me though.

If you mate changes his seat without changing the door cards it'll look uneven and cheap, best to check with some salvage yards or even on ebay and find a leather interior for a matching year 318.

thanks for the replies. its a 318, 4 door, 2002. breakers yard seems like a good option and then fitting them himself if he thinks he could manage it.

    UK BREAKERS!

I bought a few months ago a 2006 Black Diesel Focus from the UK and did the whole VRT thing, anyway I was browsing ebay a few weeks ago and a breaker in Birmingham had a full electric cream leather interior with the matching door cards for £400+ £100 delivery. Delivered in 36hrs!!!

The condition was perfect, no rips/tears/stains/fag burns etc. Installed in 2 hours and I was chuffed to bits with the results.

Good old Henry Ford, the existing loom under the seats had the power cable already terminated for the leccy seats too!

Nice one! Probably added a grand to the value of the car too.
