We would like to take this opportunity to thank, Lord and Lady Rosse for opening their home and supplying the beautiful food and refreshments for this press conference.

A Special thanks to Albert J Titterington and Philip Lawton of Irish Country Sports Magazine for their invitation to the VCRAI to take part in this Years Game and Country Fair 2009 at Birr Castle.

It was a very informal meeting in a very formal setting, Lord and Lady Rosse mixed with and spoke to the guests, they introduced their son and his wife who it is hoped in the future will be taking care of and running Birr Castle. Their Son Patrick has a deep interest in all country sports including various types of shooting.

I would say to anyone that has an interest in Country Sports / Country Life to try and attend this excellent game fair which is on the 22nd & 23rd of August 2009 Birr Castle, Birr, County Offally.

No so much Black Tie PJ, more Jeans and shirts and a little tweed. Lots of children being taught fly fishing, some horses and nice folk with terriers.

God! this little Island and its hangups, thank you to the lord and lady for hosting such a great event.

As an aside, why do so many people here not know how to spell?
