    Skysports news just announce that jonathan woodgate will miss the start of the season due to a groin injury :(

    some load of balls, king hasnt kicked a ball either in preseason and dawson has an achilles injury!:(

    FFS! We're just under a month away - surely they can clear up a groin injury with that much time? Our defence is great when fit, but how often will that be?

    We're jinxed with injuries again it seems, Keane and Pav out for the Barsa game also with groin problems..:rolleyes:

    Anyone think Upson would be good signing, or maybe a bid for Richard Dunne.. Harry tried to sign him last year for Portsmouth so obviously rates him

    Hopefully its not the start of all his injury problems again after an immense season last season.

    Its not the end of the world though. Corluka and Huddlestone can do a job in central defence, along with this Dorian Dervitte kid who has been getting rave reviews, i'd say he'll start tonight alongside Big Tom.

    There's also talk today about Harry havin a look at Bassong from Newcastle. We'll be ok.
