A few cloud - ground strikes at the moment in the North county. One was particularly spectacular. The cell itself looked quite stunning just before it arrived.

I heard that single clap in town during lunch - was walking across Trinity and everyone in the square looked up at the sky at the same time. Kinda freaky, was waiting for the monsters or aliens or something to arrive out of the black cloud :>

Back home on de Nortside now and there is a huuuuge black cloud out over north county Dublin. It's just started lashing out of the heavens, as well. Great.

Just had very heavy downpour and 4 big lightning flashes and large thunder here in Greystones...
Looks like it has moved off to the Irish sea as all is quiet now
