Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Found a Pentax ME Super in my parents wardrobe and I'd like to start taking pictures with it. But I have no photography experience above a P&S. Is there any well written guides to everything I'm going to come across on the camera?

Can anyone recommend some film for it? Preferably cheap, I don't have much money at the moment and I don't want to waste good film getting used to the camera.

Call them for one more box - I will skip my lunch to get some film.

Well, about 20 rolls would be enough for me, what what can I do? :pac:

Thank you very much, but I'm just back from the one at Tesco. She wanted to give me 200 but I asked for a extra box for my friend and she said she would give me everything. Wanted to give me 800 rolls :S. Left with 500 and they still have 300 left and she told me to tell everyone about it.

Tried the one in ork city but they don't stock anything photographic anymore :(

Tried another one and they'll only give a couple of rolls, guy nearly fell over when I enquired if a box or two was possible:eek:

Oh well, at least they'll get the developing from me anyways. Its been a while since I've used the 35mm and looking forward to having to get it right without the chance of a second shot :D

Was in the unicare in Nutgrove last weekend, the guy behind the counter was happy to hand over 2 boxes. They had more, I'm sure if you stopped in there and mentioned Boards they would hand ya a box or two.

The Pentax ME Super was my first SLR way back. It's at the bottom of the Atlantic off the coast of spain now. I miss it to this day :(

I still have an Asahi 50mm 2.0 that I'm keeping until I get around to buying another one.

    good luck with it.

I just mentioned seeing a Pentax Asahi k1000 going for 30 quid Eas on another thread. It's immaculate and comes with a pristine 50mm. It is in gobsmackingly good nick. Do you think it is worth 30. I thought 20 far more realistic price. I have fancied one of these models for a few years, I would only keep it for doing close 50mm shots so extra lenses doesn't bother me.

I'm not 100% sure about the value, but check if the base plate is metal or plastic. If it's metal, it's an earlier model and a generally better made body.

I'd probably be happy to pay 30 for the earlier model if it's in as good as shape as you say. Have a quick look on ebay maybe?
