Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Everyone,

I need some advice. I just returned from holiday and the kids said the sky was out and so was telephone, & Broadband since a lightening storm, turns out the HDMI port on the AV receiver was blown. the eircom guy just left and the telephone line restored as well as broadband somehow the BB modem survived. now everything was fine so I checked the sky box and it reported no telephone line connected. so I removed the filter and it works. upon examination of the filter it is indeed damaged. modem is fine in the sky box. however my receiver is damaged and it is the skybox port that has blown. so if it did get a bolt then I should claim all devices on the chain as they are likely to have been affected by the bolt too. so therefore I should claim for xbox 360, 46" TV, AV Receiver, Sky HD box what's peoples thoughts? it does just seem the AV receiver has been affected but working with computers and seeing so many machines die or crash consistently after modem's being replaced I wonder.

I agree, but it's difficult to know exactly what has been damaged. everything else seems fine for now but what if it has shortened the life of these products
