POKER IN ALICANTE?

anyone know if there are any poker rooms in Alicante?

Never been to any of these, but have been to casinos in tenerife, doubt you'll find a cash table or tourny easily.

Don't go near the casinos unless you enjoy limit.

I was in contact with a guy who runs redic soft n/l tourneys in Cabo Roig.

(Edge of Town Bar 9pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.)

There was also a poker club in Pharoahs Bar but not sure if it's still open.

There's a large new (1 year or so?) casino on the port in Alicante city - they do irregular tournaments every couple of months. Its nice and modern inside but mostly table games.

Theres also one in Torrevieja, near Carrefour in the Centro Commercial off the N332 as you drive past the town. The last time i was there it didn't do tournies either.

You often see signs for pub tournies, but i guess the quality of offering varies widely.

I was in this Casino last year no tournies just one cash table limit game min buy in €300 euro better off spending your money on beer !!

The Torrevieja casino offers just one table and it's 20/40 limit with a minimum buy in of 200 euro!! There are a few bars that have quick cheap rebuys and pl/nl cash games after with dealers.

200 euro freezeouts most Thursdays with 7pm kickoff. 60-100 players.

..a 500 euro freezeout once a month on a Friday. 50 satellite tournament into it on the Thursday

Three very busy cash tables. 10-20 limit and 5-10 no limit last time I looked.

Not many mugs in the cash games. Making the money in the tournaments is more than possible for any decent player.
