Have Nissan/Renault sorted the gearbox bearing problem and if so what year did they do it. I see posts about people changing out gearbox's but is not cheaper just to replace the bearings.

How do you propose changing the bearings in the 'box without removing & stripping the 'box?

Very good answer O wise one. But I have seen figures banded about of €1500 for changing out a gearbox with a recondioned one. Which I presume they change out the bearings in your knackered one and sell that on or is there more to it
