Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

REQ - Camera Shops in London for Nikon lens

    I'm looking to buy the 35mm AF-S DX prime lens and I will be in London in two weeks. Can any boardsies recommend a camera shop in London where I might be able to buy it at a competitive price? Right now, the best I seem to be able to do is about 190stg online.

    Any options/suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

    I quite like this crowd;

    http://www.apertureuk.com/

    They're friendly folk, plenty of stock, and good to haggle with. Their website is a bit brutal compared to their actual stock so it's no harm to give them a ring, and tell'em you'll be coming over for the day to buy if they have it. Make sure you get some grub from downstairs too - Just remember, when they say the spicy sauce is spicy, it bloody well is.

    I'm intrigued - a camera shop with spicy food underneath. That's got to be damn near the ideal combination. Thanks for the tip.

    Oh, it is!

    They have a kind of 'camera club' vibe running there, as well as the whole cafe thing... There's free wifi there too, or you can use their computers for 50p. It's worth popping in to, even if you're not buying there!
