Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So was anyone at the reserve outing last night? Was it in any way worthwhile?

    PACHECO SEALS IRISH WIN
    Steve Hunter 17 August 2009

Goals from Krisztian Nemeth and Daniel Pacheco gave a Liverpool XI a 2-0 win over Irish outfit Bohemian FC on Monday night.

John McMahon's young team left it late to seal the win. Pacheco set up Nemeth for the opening goal, before the Spaniard won a penalty which he cooly converted from the spot.

It was a good test for the young Reds against the League of Ireland Premier League team.

Liverpool team: Dean Bouzanis, Steven Irwin, Robbie Threlfall (Nicolaj Kohlert), Stephen Darby (captain), Chris Mavinga, Victor Palsson, David Amoo (Emmanuel Mendy), Daniel Pacheco, Nathan Eccleston, Vincent Weijl (Andras Simon), Gerardo Bruna (Krisztian Nemeth).

Was a good run out and good to see the youngsters. Pacheco was motm, last ball seemed to elude him til he set-up late goal. He was different class throughout the 90 though. Nemeth look razor sharp when he came on. Thought the right back Irwin had a great game bombing forward. Was also impressed with Mavinga & also number 6 in the middle of the park.

One thing that did strike me was how light-weight Pacheco is. Wasn't really expecting him to be so small in stature but I suppose that doesn't matter as long as he can produce on the biggest stage.

Did Byrne get a run-out too?

Will you be shelving them News of the World birds because of the offense caused?
