Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    This is the free online footie game where you're the player, not the typical boring management game, but a game where you are the footballer playing in the green of Ireland, you can live it up on your own private yacht be 2 weeks late for pre-season training like Mido, transfer from club to club, frustrate your manager endlessly, represent your country and become a football sensation.

    There are 9 human teams in Ireland, Kinsale, Hoopfiend Hooligans, Your Face United, Munster, Leinster, Craggy Island, Iron Man, Dynamo Dublin and Hackensack Bulls. I myself manage Craggy Island and we are on the look out for new players, as I'm sure are the other sides, so there'd definitely be a team ready to snap you up and teach you the basics of the game.

    As a player you control your training schedule, which controls your development and preparation for games, as well as your playing style (match orders), a player can train 13 physical/technical skills, 5 goalkeeper skills, and 9 mental skills, as well gaining fame, experience and a reputation and choosing from over 50 specialist skills. So theres lots of room to create a really individual player.

    Games are viewable in 2d and 3d, but only for users with FS Fan, but all users get to see a very detailed match report as well as player ratings and stats, international matches are viewable for all users though.

    Players can adjust there appearance, buy a pair boots, a personal trainer, a boat and a plane if they have the financial backing. If you buy FS Fan you can manage a club or become an assistant manager at an existing club, pretty soon all players will be allowed to act as agents for other users as well, so if you're smart-ass that could be for you!

    A season takes 16 weeks, with U19 and senior league games played on Saturdays and Friendlies played on Wednesdays, so it's not one of these game you need to be online 24/7, or anything near that.

    Each country has an U18, U21, and Senior teams representing them, with 14 international games per team played every season. Only the best and brightest get picked though, Like me!:D

    Ireland has almost 200 users, and one of the most active communities within the game, in the Irish forums you'll be sure to meet lots of friendly faces.

    It can take a few days to validate an account, though thats just to prevent nasty cheaters who try and make loads of players.
