Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone know how to turn off the AF beep on the Mark II Canon 1d, Just had a call from a mate who is doing a job and quiteness is required. Also how do you turn off the Shutter Noise ;)

There should be an option in the menu to disable the beep....as for the shutter sound...:D:p

Menu, section 2 - (Shooting). Beep - on/off.

Also, on the MkIII (so I assume it's on the MkII), there's a silent mode for shooting. It's not silent, but it is much quieter. But, it's for single shot only, not for burst modes.

MkII has no silent shooting mode, Mk3 has it in Drive mode and also even quieter in live view.
