Personal car leasing?

    Does anyone know of companies which specialise in long term, personal car leasing or is it a case of approaching individual garages?

    Try the garages or www.benchmark.ie. There won't be too many people looking to take on personal leasing in this current climate.

    I looked into this about 3 years ago and was told by dealers/garages that it was only available to business customers as the Irish market is too small but that if I really wanted it I would pay a premium. Otherwise I would have gone down this road - the other problem is that unless things have changed the lack of competiton will mean paying higher prices thereby defeating the benefit of leasing to personal customers (no VAT back etc).

    How about car rental companies, they do long term rentals & some even do corporate leasing. There was someone else on recently looking to do something similiar if you do search here

    there is also fleet first, premier fleet, some of the distributors do it to like VW, Mazda, have a leasing dept, where cars are bought thru grange, park, ballsbridge etc
