Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Car insurance Q

    Hi,


    Just a Quick question,

    Is it possible to have 2 car insurance policy's, i.e one for me on my car and one for another car, me + My son.

    And if so can my NCD go on both policy's, or just one.

    It's possible to have 2 policys.
    The NCD can only be used on one policy at a time.

    I have two policys one on the car the other on the van both with the same insurance firm. I shoped around when I got the van and they mirrored my no claims bonus from the car to my new policy. Thats proberly saved me over 1000 euros over the last 4 years.

    I should add some companys may do special offers, initiatives for current customers etc - what I've said above is just general practive in my experience. Like everything, discretion and stuff applys.

    Slightly off topic, but may of interest as I see an increasing number of vans used as the second vehicle,.. Setanta Insurance will mirror your car NCB bonus from any company, to a commercial vehicle, likewise we made large savings .
