yep thats right, a washington
just dusted this beast down after 10 plus years away and pluged it in it immedietly started clicking.
opened her up and seen the mic wires are detached from the pcb at the back of the plug.
as its come with the solder ive no idea which should go where :eek:

also if anyone knows anyone selling a president mic id be happy to take it off there hands. i have a realistic one here and need to change the plugs over ( right pain in the a33 )

Also, it's very likely the same as some other radio. There are only about 4 CB designs

Certinaly some variety of SuperSport, Ranger and Stalker will be the same.

The Mic is easy to figure. Only 4 wires generally

two wires are ground. Nearly 0 Ohms to case or black power lead.
The Transmit wire makes it transmit if shorted to either ground. Or is shorted to ground wire(s) on cable when PTT pressed.
The actual mic audio (inner of coax in lead) is remaining wire. Outer of coax and one switch contact is ground.
