Thats quite a storm ye have running along the southEast Cork coast and into waterford.
It's likely to be mostly out to sea shortly except for the south of the N25 new ross to Rosslare/Wellingtonbridge area.

Only a few rumbles and heavy showers so far anyway. Dark clouds about.

Thunderstorm here now amid a lot of growing darkening cumulonibus.
Quite a sharp straight line wall cloud with typical volcanic smoke like scatterings from it too.

Had loads of thunder and lightning down here in Cork, lots of hailstones too. Gone now though.

Serious thunder and lightning overhead in Kells in the last hour. Electricity off there for a while too.

seen a big lump of dark grey/black clouds whelist driving towards ashbourne last night on the N2. rain was heavy and also a few lightening forks out of the clouds. one was very impressive right in front of me, 2 forks to ground with a interconnecting bolt, very dramatic and very cool to see. the clouds were moving through ashbourne to the north. this was at about 9.15pm.
