A quick question for a friend of mine. Would it be sufficient enough to have a provisional licence for identification as he doesnt want to bring his passport with the hassle of losing it?

I use my prov. Licence for I.D,works perfectly!

depends where you're going, i only had student ID this year and the photo on that is four years old, most bouncers don't really care once you look half decent!!

I use my provisional licence as ID everywhere i go and there was never a problem, it's usually only in shops where i've had a problem with it.
