Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dell Inspiron 1525 - Won't go into hibernation

    Hi,

Small issue with my Dell laptop (Inspiron 1525). It won't enter into hibernate mode (checked power settings and it's on the Dell recommended plan). It makes all the right moves, gets set for hibernation, starts the process and then powers back up again. All that's usually running when it does this is Internet explorer. Can anyone suggest a fix?

    Thanks,

    Jack

Moved from laptops. What is it XP or Vista?

Check the BIOS (F2 on boot) for any options like 'wake on LAN' or such like.
Also in the BIOS, in power management, make sure 'USB Wake Support' is set to off.
Did you try hibernation without IE running?

    It's running Vista...I'll check the start-up point

Have you checked you are using the latest BIOS version for the laptop. One of my collegues had this issue and a bios update cleared it.
