Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Toilet Trauma: Woman Stuck In Loo For A Week

An Australian woman is recovering after being wedged between her toilet and bathroom door for a week.

The 67-year-old fell over, trapped her feet on either side of the loo and wedged her body against the inward-opening door.

She spent a week stuck there before a neighbour was alerted to her cries for help.

Michael Hibberd said he heard her as he was hanging his washing out in his garden on Sunday morning.

He could not get into the house so he called the police and fire service, who eventually rescued her by taking the door off its hinges.

The woman, who has not been named, was suffering from dehydration and was taken to hospital.

Queensland state spokesman Chantelle Rule said she was not seriously ill.

Mr Hibberd reminded people they should look out for their neighbours.

"Just make a note of their movements and whatnot," he told Australian Broadcasting Corporation radio.

"If anything becomes a bit off - like, you haven't heard or seen them for a week or so - maybe just knock on the door and see if they're OK."
