    Just for the record.....
    Many reading this will be accustomed to using a figure of 0.57 for the thermal conductivity of a normal concrete block, as per the training notes used by the "Big C" training provider.
    1.33 is the appropriate TC for the standard issue 100mm solid block.

    I think this information may well have passed over from the UK when DEAP was developed for the Irish industry, the common type of construction in block there would be external medium density block of the 0.57 TC type, from experience of English sites the standard block there is a much less dense block and lighter so would I assume be of the .57 class,
    just a shot in the dark guess, but the common list of materials does seem to lean toward UK material preferences !
