Can someone help me on the above question please.

I have just been contacted by an equity reasearch company in Zurich who have found me an investment in a small cap company who is about to be taken over by venture capitalists. They have asked me to relay payment for stock in this company to this fendiciary (spelling of it i'm not sure). Is this a recognised process and what guarantees should i be looking for that its genuine??
