Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all , we're organising a private track day for the International circuit of Mondello , for the 20 August . If we get 35 cars we'll have it for 200 Euro each , and no prob with double driving . I'd love to see a few euro , or rally cars showing the rest who's boss! Contact Stuey , <SNIP> me via PM if you'd like to attend . :)

There will be a few of us TRack Day Virgins ..so don't be shy! Apart from Karting in the dim and distant past.. the only time I've driven round Mondello was at the recent Classic Car Show in a Mk2 Escort . :D

Removed that mobile number. You don't want some crazies getting a hold of your number.

if your Track day virgins try japfest at mondello this september afaik there are 20min slots available in the public session the price is 50 euro and that gets you and your passenger entrance into the show and you get padock entrance to watch the big boys ;) i done this last year its a nice way to ease into it. Next on my list is the nurburgring

Virgins to Mondello , not virgins to trackdays!
I did the No-Burgers-Ring one Easter a couple of years back.... luckily it was the old Nordschleife and the GP track, combined . Words can't describe it... And the Museum beside it is a must see .

    Its cheap as chips

We do the Time Attack and its 150 euro to enter each event and you get about 60 mins on the track, this is 50 quid dearer for about 6 times the amount of time on track. Its great value. You'd spend it in a weekend out in the pub.

We are out this Friday and Sunday so I wont be going to this one but would have loved to have gone as some of the lads going are gents, true car fans and would be respectful and knowledgeable enough not to bully beginners on the track.

If your a trackday virgin I would recommend NOT going anywhere near the japfest. Unless you want some tool in a 1.5 civic rear ending you in the entry to turn 3.

i havent heard of any crashes at any japfest event, personally i think its a great opportunity to get a taste of the track, most sessions are taken up by owners clubs and other sites (DTD) and you know the lads that are going out with you, not like public days at the track, just my 2cents

Im trying to learn the corners at the minute its just so daunting and i know that even by learning them its going to be nothing like the real thing  must check out the musem while im there ive heard a few good reports
