Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It actually hurt! WTF? I thought they were nice insects.

It's now hiding somewhere around my computer. I'm genuinely a little frightened...

Anyone else ever been attacked by something that was supposedly gentle?

It's a side effect of living only in a virtual world.

That's a different story. And why would that be of interest to you anyway?
    Repressed desires overpowering you? :p

I adore our baby dwarf hamster, but he's after nipping my finger and drawing blood from it. I didn't think anything so tiny and cute could cause so much pain!

Yeah I remember well getting bit by ladybirds. They have a nasty bite alright. They ate the hands off me one summer when I was working in the fields.

I misread the title - thought you'd been bitten by a ladyboy.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

If he was attacked by a ladyboy he would not have survived to write about it. They are vicious...especially when you dont pay them

AAAAUGH!!!! Why did I click on that?!

Honestly though, I'd rather spiders than moths. Or butterflies. They freak me out too by extension.

And lets not even get onto the subject of Daddy Longlegs... *shudder*

You should be. It's got a taste for your blood. Now it'll want more, Little Shop of Horrors style.

The scariest of all small yokes are daddy long legs, I have to keep my windows closed at night just in case they see a glint of light in my house & fancy coming in...

My mate & I chased one around my room with a hoover before, the two of us were in shock after... Scary feckers!

& apparently those house spiders (the ones that look like daddy long legs without wings) are the most poisonous but don't have the ability to bite through human skin... Now that's what I heard, now sure whether to believe it or not...

    It's the fluttering!

    Oh god the fluttering :(

The worst is when you realise there's one in your room at night not because you can see it but because you can hear the fluttering...

That's why I also am freaked by butterflies. I don't care how colourful they are, they are not pretty, they are glorified moths. Ugh :o

Yes, but I was wondering what a ladybird (apart from biting) can do that could be transformed into a superhero's superpower.....ah well...too much time on my hand. ;)
