I'd like to give it a lash, it's got potential.

I didn't know it rhymed til just now! maybe that's why they changed it - new catchphrase.

But in answer to your question. No. I never had a pouring problem with the non easy pour container. Not that I ever buy it as own brand milk is much cheaper!!!

Milk from a plastic container tastes horrible.

Now I don't know about you but I didn't find any difficulty with pouring milk from the previous 2-litre carton.

Gimmick to pull in the housewives?

I agree, it's just product rebranding to try get more customers.

If your the type of person that falls for these ad campaigns you probably would need help pouring milk.

Yeah, they're kind of milking it.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Saw this on the telly last night and thought it was a great idea. Nicer design than the regular container and it obviously makes it easier to pour when it's full, which might be useful for more elderly customers, or those with disabilities...

They should've made it cow-shaped so you can milk it yourself!

Yes, with the weird exception of the Tesco 3 litre ones. Tastes fine from them. I don't know how people drink milk from plastic ones usually; you can taste the plastic FFS!

    I love UHT milk :P

Whenever I stay in a hotel I drink all the little cups that they leave by the kettle. Then I go to a receptionist and order 6 of them. Then when another receptionist is there, I order 6 more. And don't even ask how many I ask for to the maids. . . it's 10 okay! :)

After a nuclear armageddon that'll be all that survives along with the cockroaches, and even they wouldn't drink it.

The UHT will kill the twinkies before the cockroaches can get a look in.

It is easier to pour, I find. But it's really intended as a gimmick, to justify you spending the extra few cents on Avonmore rather than Dunnes/Tesco milk.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,558 ✭✭✭netwhizkid

I once got some sort of condensed milk in a can from Lidl, made nice coffee as a polish fella in a garage who changed a tyre for me gave me a cup of Coffee with that in it and it was very nice, haven't tried since the one time I bought in Lidl as I am not a big coffee person and I think the can of it went sour afterwards and even puss herself turned her nose up to it then.

I dunno, iv had a drinking problem since i was young, the addition of a handle could help to combat this terrible affliction when i want to enjoy some crisp cool milk straight from the bottle.

Have they gotten rid of that plastic ring that tears off the cap when you open it first and inevitably ends up in your tea when you forget to remove it? No, No they haven't. Easy pour my ****in ass!
