says a lot about the man that he insisted on making the benefit game last week. Despite obviously being in a lot of pain. Something tells me that it was this event that was keeping him alive.

A man who had beaten cancer 4 times, A man who rarely lost his cool despite being under immense pressure, A man who had time for everyone, a true loss to the game!

Very sad to hear that.

I only remember him from his last stint with us and his time with the Ireland squad but I'll remember how he always talked about football with such a lovely enthusiasm. RIP Bobby, a true gentleman and a Newcastle hero.
