    Id rarely start a thread for prospects a week in advance but I think everyone's desperation to see at least some Summer weather makes it worthwhile. Id stress that it's an uncertain distance away atm but the signs seem good. The Jet Stream looks like going on holiday between the 5th and 7th of August allowing high pressure to build and diverting the train of depression safely away to the North.

    Don't give up yet.....there is hope!:)

    We are still on track but there is a delay till the weekend and early next week. ATM it looks as though things will be Atlantic dominated which means cloudier weather then what I had anticipated. But it will turn warmer and settled. There is the chance of very good sunny weather next week but don't bet the house on it just yet!

    High pressure will take hold and will deliver the summer we have thought was gone - just a teeny delay....things are picking up gradually over the next few days.

    yup, things are looking quite good at the moment for the weather pattern to FINALLY change for the better next week at the Azores High moves up over us with the help of the Scandi High. :D Here is what to expect over the coming week.:)avnpanel1.gif

    Sings are definately looking up now, there is no doubt about it. Next week looks very nice and warm indeed at the present time. Maybe not sunny all the time but definately summer weather. Max could be the mid twenties through the middle part of next week.

    yep, perhaps it will come to pass in late August or September when the Atlantic goes on holidays
