edit : I remember them wearing that in the cup final alright. Cracker of a jersey. Im sure I still have mine lying around somewhere.

Classic. With the Man U badge print on the button.

I've been trying to track down the home goalie kit from the 1994-6 period, with the green sleeves and the triangle motif. Love that jersey!

Yeah they are "reprints", same design done by a different company. Basically United work with another company to recreate the jerseys. I think they come from scoredraw.com but the one posted above has not appeared on their site yet.

Umbro can not do reprints unless United allow them.

Have that jersey, got it new for my birthday the year it came out, in the old man united store in cork city. Ah, the good ol' days.

Man U is not a term United fans refer to themselves as. The term is only used by other supporters as a complete and utter insult to our club. The "u" is meant to be "you" by the rival fans.

An early example of its usage is this chant by West Brom fans: "Duncan Edwards is manure, rotting in his grave, man you are manure- rotting in your grave". The origin of "Man u" is a song to insult the dead Duncan Edwards.

Liverpool and Leeds fans copied this with their own man you /u versions to insult all of the lads who died at munich.

"Man U Man U went on a plane Man U Man U never came back again"

and..

"Man U Never Intended Coming Home" (if you combine the first letter of each word you get the word "munich").

I hope this makes it clearer that saying man u is an insult, particularly to the older supporters and to see United fans using it now is shameful. I hope a few might read this, understand and spread the word.

So... Please REFRAIN from using this term ever again

Mitch, Danny Welbeck's goal does mean as much to United fans as Kiko's?

a) The goal which put United 5-0 up at home to Stoke.
b) The winning goal in stoppage time from being 0-2 down which also regained top spot and ended a run of consecutive defeates and subsequently played a huge role in winning the league for the 3rd time in a row.
