He'd get my vote too but how can he sell them at €600+ cheaper than everyone else in the country. Would be curious to see the price of the NXS 12-42x56 with NP-R2 reticle. If its still €1800 then i got screwed.

Reckon John Greene is best down south, he reckon's in and around the 1500 euro mark ......i've to give him a bell again later this week. thanks for input lads looking up north also might have a deal in pounds yet.

i was looking at getting an 5-22 or 8-32 x 56 aswell but i'm hearing a lot of bad reviews about the optical quality of them, is this true?

Have a couple of nightforce scopes and am getting a new one for the new rifle. I've always went for the NP-R2 reticle but have been doing a little research and the newer NP-R1 reticle seems to suit target shooting better.

Has anyone tried both and do you find one to be slighter better in any aspect than the other?

Wanted to bring this thread up again. As in the previous post i'm looking for opinions on bench rest scopes, namely Nightforce, compared to the NXS model. Does anyone use a BR or should i have left this thread to gently fade away.

Depends a lot on the distances you plan on using the BR for. I have a swift premier - wouldn't swop it for anything - but I only go out as far as 100m.... some of the lads use Leopolds and others have Weavers .....

I'm sure someone who shoots those distances would be better qualified to give you a suggestion on the scope to use. That's just what I use.

I'm using Nightforce already, its the NXS model. I have a new .308 coming shortly and was checking different models (staying with Nightforce) to see if anyone has any experience with any other Nightforce. Whether it be the BR, 5.5x20 NXS whatever.

Found out he is not a robbing b****** i just had the misfortune of buying mine shrtly before the price fell and its steadily fallen since. €1850 is about top price for them. Talk about bad luck. If i fell in a barrel of tits i'd come out sucking my thumb.
