Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Parent lock / no remote control

Vague chance I'd say on this:

I've a portable combi tv/vhs player. Its a samsung and its probably 5-10 yrs old. Its working fine as far as I know but the problem is: I have no remote control and its parent locked.

When I leave it plugged out for 6mths I go back expecting the parent lock will have been lost from memory but its still there. Is there a battery I can unplug inside or is there a way of unlocking it without a remote.?

Some machines have a system unlock which is something like "Eject +Play pressed at the same time" although this is different from manufacture to manufacture so consulting the manual might help.
The remote end would be more advisable, my preferred remote's are the Harmony series from Logitech.
