Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rovers fans queuing to get their hands on the new away jersey at the 'megastore'. When's the last time you seen the likes for a jersey launch for a LOI team?
That's cos fans of other clubs have jobs to go to*
Seriously though, arguing over who's bigger is funny. I remember a few years ago when Shels were winning leagues and Rovers were in Division 1, a rovers fan in a bar in amsterdam almost started a fight with me cos I wouldn't say rovers were a "bigger club" than shels! His mentality was, you may be winning the league, but rovers were "bigger", so he's happy enough!
The whole "who's the biggest club" is one of the stupidest arguments ever! Remember Bohs fans tried to pretend their nickname was "The Big Club"? It's almost as ridiculous as trying to call Richmond Park the Stadium of Light.

    *that was a joke

I think that's your problem right there, Pap. Slight confusion.

And Bohs are The Big ClubTM. Anyone with a sense of irony knows that, and God knows you need a sense of irony around the LoI. It makes us laugh (all right, there are a few saddos who take it on the level) and it drives the Shams absolutely crazy. What's not to like? :D

The Big Club thing pissed of everyone though, not just rovers. OK, maybe not pissed off, but made us all laugh at yous! Admit it, it wasn't just to get ar rovers fans, it was serious!

I think it might have been serious once, and, as I said, there are probably a few deluded souls who can't count attendances. But principally now it's on the level of Hold Me Now. We've gone all post-modern.

Ah, the bygone days of The Big Club (BFC) and The Minnows (everybody else).

It rates with googling old breathless SINDO pieces about property developer weddings for a schadenfreude hit. :P
