There's already a thread here for TV shows and books, but none for films (other than a "Greatest movie ever" thread which isn't the same thing), so I figured it'd be a good thread to start.

To start with I've recently watched:

Full Metal Jacket - Fairly good, better than I was expecting anyway.

La Femme Nikita - Decent, but not great.

Martyrs - Fairly good, seems to quickly fail near the end, like they just gave up on a storyline and wanted to end it quickly.

    Dragonball Evolution - AHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Léon - Pretty good, seen it before but ages ago, it's just as good as I remember it.

Pulp Fiction - What can I say, possibly one of the best films ever, if not the best.

    Fight Club, love it.
    Good Will Hunting
    Catch me if you can
    +1 on Pulp Fiction
    Behind Enemy Lines
Slumdog Millionaire (Director comes from my town:cool:)
Have to throw in the old Shawshank Redemption too, what a film.

Literally just finished watching Yes Man a few minutes ago and thought it was really enjoyable. Very "Liar Liar"-esque though, there's parts where you feel it's practically the same movie!

Still very good all the same.

-Grease: a classic. Who couldnt love that movie.:)
-decided to try the Princess Protection Programme movie out by disney channel - as usual, it was just another thing about two girls realising they can be anythin they wanna be blah blah blah!
-Wimbeldon : oh i love this movie to bits!:D
-Prom night: ok, this is supposed to be a scary movie.. It failed dramatically!

I watched "What Happens in Vegas" with my mother last night. We agreed that, while somewhat enjoyable, the plot was far-fetched and the characters were a tad flat and one-dimensional.

Rise of the Footsoldier-Fairly good, not everyone would like it though, but I like all the stuff it was about-hooligans, druggie bouncers etc.

    Superbad-Legendary, laughed so much.

Wind That Shakes the Barley-Brilliant, one of my all time favourites.

    Half Baked-Class stoner comedy.

Harold and Kumar escape from Guantanamo Bay-Good, but I preffered the first one tbh.

    Most Recent:

The Hangover - Didn't think it lived up to the hype but was funny

    All-Time Favourites:

I Am Legend - Actually, nearly everything with Will Smith, that man is legendary
Everything With Will Smith - As mentioned
The Rock - Sean Connery and girly-man Nicholas Cage? Genious.
Entrapment - Actually, most films with old Sean Connery.
Pokemon: The First Movie - FRIGHTENED YA THERE DIDN'T I

More I can't think of. Dying to see The Rock, seen it like twice but haven't seen it recently.

Bruno - A great stress reliever with some serious laugh out loud moments. Very enjoyable.

Public Enemies - Bit of a let down. Flashes of brilliance but it's only ok in the end. Could have been great.

*reminds self to watch usual suspects*

I think "The Reader" is the one occasion where I've preferred a film adaption of a book to the book itself. Great movie.

    christmas-evil-youe28099d-better-watch-out-1980-poster.jpg

Watched this tonight. An absolute classic. The tale of a young boy who sneaks downstairs on Christmas Eve to see Santa Claus (his father in a suit) eating his mother's muff.

    christmas-evil1.jpg

Boy freaks the f*ck out and cuts himself. 30 years later he dresses up as Santa and kills a bunch of people on Christmas Eve. Quality.

Has anybody mentioned The Dark Knight?? I thought that was EPIC. Mostly because of Heath Ledgers performance as the Joker, unbelievable!

Watched The Shawshank Redemption last night for the 1000th time I cant get enough of Morgan Freemans voice.

The most recent films I seen were Sex Drive and The Reader.
Sex Drive is pretty run of the mill teensexyoungngrossoutOMGZLULZ type of film.
The Reader is great, bleak, depressing and deep.My kind of film.
