Might start actually going to the cinema on a semi-regular basis again with the likes of these soon to be released:

    North Face
    A Prophet
    Shutter Island

And I've yet to see Avatar, The Road, Crazy Heart or Up In The Air.

I've seen A prophet and wasn't too impressed. Looking forward to shutter island.

The use of Yann Tiersen's music made that movie the best movie ever! :pac:

    Seriously he's awesome.

The movie is quite good too.

    But Yann Tiersen!

    Pan's Labyrinth-Amazing!
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince-Dismal
    Twilight-Average
    The Nightmare Before Christmas-Fantastic
    Paranormal Activity-Terrifying

    And that's about it...

I'm torn between liking you for your praise of Pan's Labyrinth, and hating you for saying Twilight is good enough to be considered average.

So I'll just pretend this post never happened

This little Irish film just got nominated for an animation oscar. It's up against the likes of Coraline, Up and Fantastic Mr. Fox. I saw it when it came out and the animation is really beautiful in it! They havn't a hope of winning(come on like, up is definitely going to win) but I'm just so happy for all those animators to get recognized on such a big scale. Absolute legends!:)

It's alright, definitely worth a watch. But, as I have said before, District 9 is a much better apartheid movie.

Watched The Godfather for only the second time on Film4 tonight. I appreciated it much more this time. It consequently moved up into my top three films of all-time.

    District 9 is win.

I saw the new Mel film, "Edge of Darkness". It was okay. I wouldn't watch it again but I wouldn't take back the experience. It was no Taken though.

I can't watch dubbed films/TV shows generally, not for any pretentious twat reasons or anything, just because they're usually so painfully bad it destroys your enjoying of the film.
If I wanted to see 90 minutes of emotionless talk that doesn't sync with the video I'll watch some Art student's final project.

the fact that he's saying it
implies it's his opinion and he never claimed it as canon.

also,i've just got the hangover from a friend of mine.Any opinions on it?

I thought it was good. Nothing ground-breaking obviously and terribly surreal, but hilarious in parts.
