Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

whats the best spray for the following problem. basically i want to kill thizzels( however you spell it) and ragworth which are in different spots under wires. i plan to spot spray them as i have the gun for my sprayer. also behind one wire there is about a metere wide of waste grass consisting of grass thizzels and ragworth which i want to kill off.

i have d50 spray but would that do the job or would ye recommend a different spray.

Anytime really as long as you obey the instructions ESPECIALLY regarding how long to refrain from grazing.
With ragworth, you'd be aswell pulling them up from the root if the field isn't badly infested ,then dumping and burning.
    They are rotten yokes.

MCPA for the thistles and D50 for the ragworth, if they are flowering it's too late though.

Roundup is the best to kill everything but I'd be slow to advise you to kill everything behind the wire, for one thing you will fail for cross compliance if you have an inspection and some of the stuff likely to replace the grass might be worse.

unless the thistles were cut or topped earlier this year it is a waste of time & money spraying now.
Thistlex is a good spray although expensive.
