Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Live football on today and tomorrow, in the EA Sports Cup semi-finals. These, going by much of our media, are top-secret events.

3 Aug 2009 Bohemians  7:45 Sligo Rovers Dalymount Park
4 Aug 2009 UCD 7:45 Waterford United UCD Bowl *

Bohs could do with a win at this stage... Once again it'll be interesting to see if the appetite is there. If Heary is indeed back that might be the solution.

    Ah yes. The League Cup.
Absolutely crazy game, with some comedy refereeing/lino-ing to enrage both sides. Injury time equaliser (Fenn again!) and 4-2 aet.
Mr Winter deems nothing whatsoever wrong with two-footed challenges and challenges from behind, and the (male) lino needs to understand that, sometimes, it is possible to spring an offside trap and that the striker encroaching behind the defenders is something that is supposed to happen.
Anyway. Happy(ish) days. Bring on Waterford, I hope.
