Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Donegal is lovely, but the natives are fvcking wild (and that's not just driving).

Heading over to Galway tomorrow with the son, two up on the GS to collect his new bike. I'm raging I didn't book accommodation (I've free digs in Renmore barracks) and done some touring over the weekend.

Give the missus my regards :)

More really early work in Galway so the long way home as always. Did the commute every day to connemara on the bike this week, so nice to have the bike handling properly again.

New (used) gsxr 600 shock on the way too which will be nice. Need to find rising dog bones for cheap though. EBay wants 22 sterling or something mad for them..

HRC brake reservoir delete kit will also help with the back end.
About 15 euro to do it.

The green Honda tubing is prone to sweating and discolouring.
Best to use clear Tygon tubing.

Thats what I use on the race bikes.

Finally a pic of the bike and not the scooter lol

Looks v nice fella. I hope you're enjoying it and happy with your choice in the end.

If you're bothered get some harpic power plus and some autosol for that downpipe. I can't understand how dealers and even private sellers can soak everything in "back to black" but they can't be bothered polishing the downpipes.

Thanks to all who helped me with advice both on thread and in private messaging, I need to go back to school and do a crash course in computers.
    She's a 2011 reg.

Yeah i'm enjoying it a lot, the freedom is more enjoyable than a coach or a car, but not all of my family approve of me having the bike or the scooter.

The only thing I find is it doesn't have as much torque as say an MT07 which I did my IBT on.

I bought a bottle of harpic black today and am looking up on youtube how to do it.

Got the bike from a dealer in Cork and while it was immaculate when I got it the down pipe and one or 2 minor bits of surface rust let it down slightly around the pegs. I'll have to touch them up with Black paint.

P.S I added the Givi Blade top box and centre stand.
