That's the stock tyre on the back, I could do with new rubber as those tyres are 10 years old. Anybody recommend a place for good priced tyres?.

Been driving on them retro tyres for years, they don't seem to wear anymore I think the rubber has gone hard or something... Only really smoke them in a straight line though, the Vmax never liked the twistys anyways..

Nice bike Cocoon, think I seen it before up for sale on a couple of sites?

Get new tyres anyway, 6 years is the cut off limit and after that the rubber goes very hard and can scalp off. Have a good look at it for any flat areas. Just changed a real old one last week and the difference is night and day with them, far safer!

I'm going to replace both tyres this summer to be safe, now that I've decided to keep it I'll be spending a few quid. Must get valve clearances and a few other things checked too..

Yep, have to agree, the light drag co-efficient is too high for blue paint. Pity they don't do one in black, complete absence of colour therefore its faster
