Congratulations, nice bike, I'd say your commute just got a bit shorter and a lot more enjoyable.

Cheers lads. It's the 750 one, picked it up with 2 km on it. Have the joys if breaking it in. The first 1000 km is going to do my nut in.

Was out and about on it today and even at keeping it between 4 and 5 k revs it sounds great and is dying to be let rip. Looking forward to a good weekend spin on it.

    Oh, no.

You didn't buy a brand new shiny bike, did you. :)

    Enjoy the feeling. :)

nothing wrong with buying a new bike if you can afford it, especially if you have no clue who to trust or what to look for.
    wear well and enjoy it.

I bought my last bike as an ex demo bike with 400 miles on it. It was nearly 2000 pounds cheaper than the new.

I never intend on keeping any bike I have longer than 1-2 years so even if it was ragged to death during those 400 miles then any issues are unlikely to appear in that time frame and even if they do its still under warranty.

If I was planning on keeping the bike for the long term they maybe I would go for the 100% new.

Some younger viewers mightn't have had the joys of the old kick start! My right shin still has scars from when my foot slipped off and whacked into the bloody footrest. That said, I miss them, very handy, bring em back I say!

Make sure you get the long tar like sticky plugs not the car ones that are long rectangles kinda deal (prolly know that already) Handy to get the plug kits aswell they are about €20 and have the sticky strips and the tools and 2/3 canisters of compressed gas to get you out of stuck if stranded in the middle of no where.

Picked up this Husqvarna TE610e at the beginning of March as a non runner.
Got her goin a few weeks ago and stuck a DR125 headlight on her instead of the poxy ebay non-road legal mini halogens.
Still needs a little more work such as some fresh plastics and some minor tuning.
