Just an update on the ZZR.
Above, the way it was when I got it.
Below the way it is at the moment.
I have added Bagster tank cover, Givi 6 litre tank bag(handy for a few bits and bobs) and also the new seat.
Two more things ordered for her, nothing major and that's it, finished, the way I want it.

Yeah, I like it myself and it's an absolute dream to ride.
Amazed how light it feels for what is.
As far as I know, I think it's over 10stone lighter than its predecessor the ZZR1200.
    All good so far:D

Added ninja stickers to the screen and reservoir socks.

Fairly clean for a Garda bike.... the ones around Cork tend not to be quite as clean.

Fine bus. We should be getting more input from you on threads...unofficially of course!

I'd be interested in your opinion/input on some of the threads regarding rules of the road, such as the Driving in cycle lanes thread when they come up.

Please don't give your opinion on this thread. The bus/cycle lanes work okay as is and the Gardai are doing a fine job policing them. I'm sure if there is any change in their policing or policy on their usage it will be more concerted effort than the opinion of an individual member of the Gardai (no disrespect). Glad to hear from someone new being trained on the bikes and it would be nice to hear from your own biking experiences in the future. You'll be seeing a lot more the roads than we will!

I'm not sure I would like to be on the motorway with the Deauville. My own one struggles at speed. Perfect for around Dublin and back roads though! Very comfortable to spend a few hours on.

This is a motorbike forum for discussion of everything from the bikers point of view. There is an Emergency Services forum where if a Garda wants he / she can discuss the merits of road safety to their hearts content.

In fairness not "EVERYTHING" from a bikers point of view is allowed on this forum....so lets not get carried away.

But if he wants to reveal the locations of gatso vans on a weekly basis leave him on. :D

    I'm fairness, you are correct.
Not everything is allowed on any forum on boards.ie.
    For example:
You can't advise someone to do something that is illegal.
    You can't post spam.
    Etc.

But KTRIC has a very good point about the different forums.

But we are going off topic now.

    Back to the pics.

I mean if you think about it from the perspective of the Police, anything we really want to know he cant tell us and anything he can would be just personal opinion so not much help in anyway as it might as well be me or anyone else giving advice on the subject.

But lets not treat him any differently because he is what he is.....LMAO.
